Over near Pelzer and just below Ware Place in South Carolina's upstate there's a chocolate milk factory just waiting to make your taste buds explode.
The Happy Cow Creamery is a working farm that also has its own milk bottling plant.
You won't believe how delicious the milk is when it's from farm to glass, all from the same spot here in South Carolina's Anderson and Greenville Counties. It also helps that the cows are all grass-fed.
This unique bottling operation located right on the farm is a must-see in the Palmetto State.
While you're there you must check out the Creamery's store. It offers freshly bottled Chocolate Milk, Whole Milk, Strawberry Milk and Buttermilk - all nourished, milked and bottled on the farm, plus a variety of other items.
The tour involves a picturesque ride through parts of this 100-acre farm to see the cows at graze or in the process of being milked.
You'll get to check out the cows, the bottling process and of course....
you'll get to sample the product. Yum!
After the tour, visit the store and get some Happy Cow to take home with you.
A trip to this fun milk "factory" in South Carolina is sure to make you feel like a kid again.
