There’s no doubt that cabins are cozy and just … cool. But some of them may be just a bit too rustic for the occasion or perhaps for you in general. Not everyone likes “roughing” it, and that’s okay! We’ve found a luxury log cabin in South Carolina that is just for you.
This cabin is located in Pickens County and was originally built in Georgia the old-fashioned way with hand-sewn logs from local timber. A piece of history, the cabin was taken apart piece-by-piece, moved to South Carolina, and lovingly restored with all the modern comforts of home. It's truly one-of-a-kind!
You'll look out at this beautiful mountain scenery during your stay.
The living room is comfortable and has a full-size sleeper sofa with bedding for extra sleeping space if needed and a Smart TV.
In the kitchen, there are stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, and it opens into the dining room which features a granite pass-through bar and coffee bar.
The cabin will sleep 12 people. There's a private loft suite that occupies the top level and features a king-size bed and a Futon with additional bedding available.
There's a full bathroom with double sinks and a walk-in shower on the top level. Additional bedrooms include a King-size bed, a Queen-size bed, and a bunk bed with a full-size bed on bottom and a twin-size bed on the top.
The wrap-around porch/deck across the front and side of the cabin is a great place to take in the views while enjoying your morning coffee.
There's also a gas grill and an outdoor dining table.
Nearby attractions provide plenty to do, however, if you want to stay at the cabin, you can always play a game of foosball ...
... horseshoes ...
... or relax in the hot tub while admiring the landscape around you. It's such a peaceful setting that feels like home away from home.
And for the perfect ending to a fun day, gather around the firepit in the evening to roast marshmallows and make S'mores before retiring for the night.
Visit this cabin’s Vrbo listing for all the details and to book your getaway trip. And you don’t want to miss Aunt Sue’s Country Corner while you’re in Pickens!
