Rhode Island has more than its share of great restaurants, especially for being such a small state. However, there aren't many places in Rhody that offer delicious meals served mere steps from a waterfall. But that's exactly what you'll experience at the Waterfall Cafe, a charming restaurant in Harrisville located a few feet away from Harrisville Falls.
You'll find the Waterfall Cafe and Martini Bar at 35 East Avenue in Harrisville, where it has spent years delivering tasty meals to locals and tourists alike.
It all started when owner Synthia Cardinale discovered the location and opened the cafe after 25 years in the restaurant industry.
The restaurant is located right across the street from Harrisville Falls, which you can check out before or after your meal.
The water falls softly over Mill Pond for about 30 feet in a beautiful display.
The Waterfall Cafe's dining room is casual, warm, and inviting.
In addition to daily dinners, you can enjoy a scrumptious Sunday breakfast here from 8 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Despite the laid back atmosphere, you can expect a fine dining experience when it comes to your entree.
Everything is perfectly plated, and it tastes as good as it looks.
The appetizers here are phenomenal, especially the famous Tuna Tower.
Ahi is piled high over alternating layers of jasmine rice and seaweed salad and dressed with aioli and cucumber wasabi.
The expansive menu includes plenty of steak, seafood, pasta, chicken, and even pizza and sandwiches.
And it goes without saying that you should definitely save room for dessert here.
The Waterfall Cafe is open for dinner Wednesday - Saturday from 4 p.m. - 10 p.m. and for breakfast on Sunday from 8 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Enjoy a delicious meal and then take a relaxing stroll by the waterfall.
