For some Halloween's all about dressing up, going trick-or-treating, and scoring a boatload of candy. Others embrace the spookiest day of the year all season long, relishing the many haunted spots that promise endless thrills and chills. For one of the most terrifying experiences of the season, make your way to this haunted tunnel in Rhode Island.
You'll need a hearty dose of courage when you make your way to Slater Park Haunted Tunnel, an epic Halloween attraction in Pawtucket.
The popular haunted attraction is so scary, in fact, that it's not recommended for kids under 12.
You can still head to the park with the kiddos to experience the popular, family-friendly Pumpkins in the Park Halloween attraction, held select Friday and Saturday evenings in October.
Make your way to the Daggett Farm area of the park for this one-of-a-kind Halloween attraction.
You'll wander through a 200-foot concrete tunnel that promises terrifying surprises - and frightening creatures - at every turn. Don't worry, though, because actors do not touch or grab guests.
The tunnel boasts nine rooms, each scarier than the next. Do you think you can make it through the whole way?
Wear comfy shoes, too, because you'll do a lot of walking. Once you've emerged from the tunnel, if you're still up for it, check out the rest of the attraction.
It usually takes between 10 and 15 minutes to go through the tunnel.
It features a corn maze and a cemetery.
Admission is a flat $10 fee for all ages. Only cash is accepted.
Find days, hours, and more on the Slater Park Haunted Tunnel Facebook page.
