The beautiful beach has everything you need for a relaxing day – restrooms, concessions, and lifeguards during the season. There’s even a separate surfing area if you’re up for a bit of an adventure on the water. You must pay a daily admission fee at Narragansett Town Beach; season passes are also available.

A beloved gem in Portsmouth, Green Animals Topiary Garden is the oldest of its kind in the United States, making it a fitting stop on this outdoor road trip. Meander through the garden and snap photos of the more than 80 topiary figures, including bears and a giraffe.
