Next time you're craving sushi, head down to the South Side of Pittsburgh, where you'll find its latest culinary masterpiece - Kura Revolving Sushi Bar.
The sushi bar opened to long lines and rave reviews from diners in the late summer of 2023.
A cozy spot nestled in the Southside Works, the cozy Japanese restaurant promises a one-of-a-kind culinary experience that will keep you coming back for more.
Rather than a server taking your order, you'll head to the conveyor belt. Dishes of classics, including sushi, will pass you by.
Grab what you want, and take it back to your table. You can take as much as you want, but you'll pay per plate, so keep that in mind, especially if this is your first visit.
Watch as the dozens of types of sushi roll by. Which will you choose? But that's just a peek at the deliciousness that will pass by.
Miso soup, udon, and ramen are also on the menu.
You'll have a variety of hot and cold sides from which to choose - crispy chicken, Kura crispy fries, garlic fried rice, and sashimi.
Save some room, too, for a decadent dessert. The revolving sushi bar features more than a dozen options, including ice cream, watermelon, tarts, and New York cheesecake.
After you've finished with each plate, just slide it into the plate slot. And your drinks? A robot will deliver them right to your table.
