PA's a snack lovin' kind of state. Need proof? Well, we've been named the Snack Capital of the World due to the many snacks made in PA - from Herr's and Utz to Hershey and Snyder's of Hanover. Even better than all those goodies we have in PA? Many of the snack food factories offer tours that give us a glimpse at how our favorite snacks are made. Next time you've got a spare hour or two, watch pretzels as they're made during this factory tour in Pennsylvania.
Add a little bit of flavor to your day with a factory tour of Snyder's of Hanover, where you'll watch as the snack company's famous pretzels are made.
Tours, which are recommended for those five and older, usually last a half an hour and require climbing stairs.
Follow your guide, who will lead you to the raw material warehouse. Then, watch as robots work in the finished goods warehouse.
