In fact, as the oldest Italian restaurant in America, it's delighted diners for generations.
Ralph's Italian Restaurant has held the title of "America's Oldest Italian Restaurant" since 2012, when taking over for Fior D'Italia. The San Francisco eatery closed in 2012, after 126 years in business.
A Philadelphia institution since 1900, Ralph's Italian Restaurant offers a cozy, family-like atmosphere.
After all, the restaurant has been a family tradition, passed from generation to generation, since it first opened.
And, the Italian eatery has seen its fair share of historical figures and celebrities. Theodore Roosevelt, Joe Biden, and Frank Sinatra have all dined at Ralph's.
So, start your visit by viewing the wine list. Choose from an assortment of red and white wines, including Cabernet, Merlot, and Chianti.

Or, will you jump straight to the entree? Ralph's features such scrumptious entrees as sausage and peppers, veal mozzarella, and trombino.
Then, there's the pasta. What's your favorite? Ravioli, manicotti, or lasagna? (And, that's just a sampling of your choices.)
