Journey back more than 200 million years next time you visit the Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium where dinosaurs once again walk among us. The new dinosaur attraction - Dinosaurs at the Pittsburgh Zoo - recently opened to much fanfare and excitement from dinosaur fans of all ages.
Pass through the front gates at the Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium, which boasts the new exhibit Dinosaurs at the Pittsburgh Zoo.
Feel the ground shake as the lifelike tyrannosaurus-rex stomps his feet and lets out massive roars in this add-on attraction that boasts 18 lifelike dinosaurs.
Listen and watch as the dinosaurs come to life, moving and making sounds, thanks to robotics and software.
Trek through the jungle where you'll also be able to explore replica artifacts, including bones and fossils.
Dinosaurs at the Pittsburgh Zoo is set apart from the traditional zoo and requires a separate admission fee. Adult admission is $5 for members and $6 for non-members. Children's admission is $4 for members and $5 for non-members. Children under two are free.
