We all need a way to just let loose and rid ourselves of pent-up frustration and stress. While we all probably have our own ways to do that, sometimes what we really need is to just, well, break some things. Now we can do that easily and safely with a visit to the brand new 412 Rage Room in Pittsburgh.
Smash a TV screen, a keyboard, or even dishes to your heart’s content at 412 Rage Room in Ross Township, the first rage room to debut in the Pittsburgh area.
However, rage rooms certainly aren’t a new concept, and it’s probably fair to say they’ve become a lot more popular during the pandemic. Pay a fee to use a baseball bat or a sledgehammer, for example, to destroy things. It’s straightforward – and fun.
It’s also pretty cathartic for those who have tried it. 412 Rage Room offers several different packages, which will determine how much you will pay for your session.
You’ll get to choose what you use to do your smashing. The rage room offers baseball bats, sledgehammers, and golf clubs – all perfect for getting out all of that pent-up rage or frustration.
Pick the perfect weapon for you to break, smash, and utterly destroy a variety of delicate items – dishes, TVs, furniture, and even toys. (What you get to smash will largely depend on the package you choose.)
Because you’ll be breaking stuff, you’ll have to adhere to a dress code. Long pants and closed-toed shoes (or boots, if you can) are required. Other protective gear, such as glasses, will be provided by 412 Rage Room.
The rage room welcomes adults 18 and older, and all participants must sign a waiver. Kids between 12 and 17 years old are welcome to participate, as long as they’re with a parent or a guardian.
Find more information, including days and hours, on the official Facebook page of 412 Rage Room.
