A day at a theme park? Yes, please! Pennsylvania's certainly no stranger to theme parks that offer non-stop thrills and excitement, whether we want to stay cool in the water or get an adrenaline rush on a roller coaster. However, the most unique theme park in Pennsylvania looks a whole lot different than your traditional amusement park. (It still offers a ton of fun, though.)
Add Land of Little Horses Park in Gettysburg to your list of must-visit places in Pennsylvania, especially if you love animals - and horses, in particular.
Spanning 100 beautiful acres, the unique theme park has drawn visitors from all over since it first opened more than five decades ago.
Billed as a performing animal theme park, the park's main attraction is its furry residents - little horses, donkeys, goats, and alpacas are just a few you might meet.
Catch one of the shows during your visit. Watch as horses that have appeared in numerous TV shows show off their skills during The Mane Event.
Cheer on your favorite piggie during the pig races, and get a glimpse of how the adorable little horses are trained at The Great Mini Horse and Counter.
Stop by Western Town, too, where you can ride a pony, go gem mining, or climb aboard an old-fashioned wagon for a ride.
An assortment of friendly animals is waiting to meet you at the petting zoo, too. Don't forget to bring your camera along.
Save time to stop by the gift shop, and grab a bite to eat in the cafe.
Have you fallen head over heels for the adorable residents of Land of Little Horses Park? You can purchase a season pass and visit as many times as you want. The season runs from April through mid-December.
Stop by the official website of Land of Little Horses Park for days, hours, and more information. Or, go here for Facebook.
