Some of us are all about the spooky season, waiting all year long for the most terrifying night of the year. In the days leading up to Halloween? We go all out with decorations, dressing up, and attending just about every Halloween event and attraction we can pack into our schedules. For a one-of-a-kind Halloween experience that will leave you on the edge of your seat – quite literally – buy a ticket for this haunted drive-in in Yardley, Pennsylvania.
A summer trip to the drive-in usually means kicking back, relaxing, and catching a double-feature under a starry sky. But when the Halloween season rolls around, things get a bit spookier, especially at Charlann Farms in Yardley.
If you’ve been to a traditional drive-in, you’ll already be familiar with how things work at the farm. Sit inside your car, or sprawl out on a blanket or chair in front of it. Just don’t forget to bring an FM radio if you plan to sit outside.
Like any classic drive-in, you’ll be able to purchase snacks – popcorn, candy, and drinks – but that’s really where the similarities end. That’s because this drive-in is terrifyingly haunted.
While you find yourself engrossed in a classic scary flick, you’ll always be on the edge of your seat, waiting and wondering when the next terrifying creature will pop out from the shadows to greet you.
Jump, yell, snap photos…just don’t touch the actors. They’re wandering around to make sure everyone has a spooky good time. If it gets too intense for anyone in the car, you can leave whenever you want.
Movies will play on select evenings throughout October with admission costing $50 per vehicle. Hocus Pocus, Casper, The Conjuring, and Halloween are just a few of the films on the schedule.
The haunted drive-in will also be held at Snipes Farm in Morrisville, Pennsylvania.
