You're probably aware that Oregon is well-known for its craft beer, and its many vineyards that produce excellent wine, but did you know that we also have a moonshine distillery? You'll want to visit this spot for a tasting soon!
Marcotte Distilling Company is a family-owned business that just recently got its start in the little town of Philomath, a little town just west of Corvallis.
The current address of the distillery is 100 S. 8th St., Philomath, OR 97370. The distillery has outgrown its current shop though, so watch for it to move to a larger location this year.
After a lengthy permit process, this tiny shop opened up in a strip mall in March, 2018, offering just a few flavors of moonshine.
The company has grown quite a bit in just a few short months, and it's now offering 13 different flavors, with more on the horizon.
With unique flavors like Aimee Jo's Strawberry Lemonade, Blake's Pumpkin Spice, and Kely's Apple Pie, this moonshine is flavorful and smooth.
Stop by the distillery on Fridays and Saturdays for free tastings.
While you're there, you can browse through all the flavors and take some home with you. 750 ML bottles are just $26, and they make great additions to your liquor cabinet, and great gifts for friends who enjoy mixology.

Visit Marcotte Distilling Company Friday from noon to 6 p.m., and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m..
