Mt Tabor is a beautiful, accessible mountain located right in the heart of Southeast Portland. I routinely walk up and around this mountain with my dog, kids, and friends. It’s the perfect in-city nature getaway. It’s got paved, dirt, and gravel walking paths encircling the peak, a playground, picnic tables, sports courts, a dog park, and more. But, best of all are the stunning, huge trees. It’s the perfect spot for a picnic, a game of tag, an in-depth conversation, or a quiet walk — and every time I visit the park, I discover something new.
