Tualatin Hills Nature Park in Beaverton, Oregon is a beautiful nature and wildlife preserve that anyone who enjoys exploring the outdoors should visit. Although this park is in the most populated corner of the state, it offers 222 acres of woods, creeks, wetlands, ponds, and meadows, and it's a wonderful place to explore at any time of the year. Tualatin Hills Nature Park is a woodsy oasis in the middle of the suburbs.
You'll feel serene and at ease as soon as you arrive.
This large park is located at the confluence of Cedar Mill Creek and Beaverton Creek. The area that surrounds the place that these two waterways meets includes several different habitats and ecosystems.
Here, you'll find wetlands, forests, streams, and meadows.
There are five miles of trails in the park. 1.5 of them are paved; the rest are soft-surface.
Some of the trails are paved or boardwalk and are wheelchair-accessible.
You'll love spending time exploring this park.
Along the way, you'll likely encounter wildlife.
There are large animals in this park, like deer.
There are also small creatures like this snail. You can learn more about the flora and fauna in this park when you visit the Tualatin Hills Nature Center at the entrance to the park.
This park is just as lovely in the fall as it is in the spring and summer.
