Every summer, an amazing hot air balloon festival takes place in Tigard, Oregon. The Festival of Balloons is a weekend-long event complete with carnival rides, a beer garden, delicious food, games, a car show -- and of course, lots of incredible hot air balloons. You won't want to miss this wonderful summertime festival in Oregon.
This year, the Festival Of Balloons will be taking place in Tigard from June 23rd-25th, 2017. This unique festival draws visitors from far and wide. The enormous, colorful balloons are truly extraordinary, and there are numerous other awesome attractions as well.
There's live music, a beer garden, a car show, a soccer tournament, a kids area, a twilight run, an eating contest, and more.
There's even a full-blown carnival with rides and games.
Get there early to see the balloons take off between 5:45-6:15am.
On Friday and Saturday evening you'll get to experience the amazing Night Glow. As the sun sets, the landed air balloons are lit up beautifully in the field. The sight is simply magical.
The festival will be taking place at Cook Park in Tigard. 3-day passes cost $7 at the gate or $5 if you pre-order them online. Children under the age of 6 are admitted free of charge.
