A weekend on the coast is always wonderful, no matter what the season, and it's even better when you can find a cozy Airbnb property at a great rate. We've found a fun, 1960s-themed place in Otter Rock that's a unique getaway. Check out The Dude's Abode:
From the outside, this A-frame Airbnb looks like a little Swiss Chalet...
...but the moment you step inside, you'll be transported to the 1960s. The decor in this little abode is similar to The Dude's home in the move The Big Lebowski, which was the inspiration for this little Airbnb's decor.
We've got to say it - that rug really does tie this room together!
The abode has 1960s flair all over the place, including the full kitchen, where you can prepare all your meals (and maybe even a White Russian or two).
The main level features a bedroom with a queen-sized bed, and a bathroom.
Climb the stairs to the loft, where you'll find another bedroom with two twin beds for the kiddos, or roommates who want to crash with you.
You'll love the little 1960s touches throughout the abode!
The Dude's Abode is just 656-square-feet, but the owners have managed to pack tons of amenities and vintage charm into this tiny space. It's the perfect beach retreat.
Head down the private path to the beach, or if you're still in your bathrobe...
...just find a bench where you can sit and admire the ocean. When you tire of all that ocean beauty, there's a bowling alley in Lincoln City, just 17 miles up the coast.
Does this little Airbnb look like somewhere you'd like to stay? Tag the loved ones you'd like to bring with you, then check out the Airbnb listing to make your reservation.
If you love The Big Lebowski, you'll also want to head to The Big Legrowlski, a movie-themed bar in Portland.
