Will Rogers Gardens in Oklahoma City is a 30-acre park that's more than just a city park. It's home to a conservatory, a two-acre color garden, an arboretum, and now, fairy doors and gnome houses.
A city worker for the OKC Parks and Recreation Department made them by hand in 2020. He crafted them from fallen trees and other items.
No trees are damaged in the process, and the kids love coming here and discovering them all throughout the gardens.
The park is open year-round, so the kids can explore in every season. Check out the fairy door hiding in the tree.
The city worker says he will continue to add more fairy doors and gnome houses so the kids have new ones to discover (as long as it is allowed).
There is so much to see and do here. While the kids are searching for the fairy doors, you'll also get to enjoy beautiful flowers, plants, and scenery along the way.
Plus, the gardens are home to some cool art pieces, and they host gardening and special events throughout the year that are open to the public.
