When the temperature climbs, it's time to head for a water park where you can splash, swim, and cool off. There's a charming, old-school water park in Edmond that you'll want to visit the summer.
Welcome to Pelican Bay Aquatic Center! This water park is chock-full of fun things to do and ways to stay cool under the summer sun.
Address: 1034 South Bryant Avenue, Edmond, OK, 73034
Grab a lounge chair and get ready to play in the sun and surf all day long! The park opens at 11 a.m. Monday through Saturday (noon on Sunday).
Lifeguards are on hand to keep everyone safe, but kids 11 and younger should be accompanied by a parent who's keeping a close eye on them.
You won't have a single moment of boredom at Pelican Bay. Zip down one of the waterslides for a thrilling ride.
Swim and splash in the pool, and hop in the river to let the current carry you along.
Get drenched under one of the sprinklers and water features. The zero-entry pool makes it safe for kids of all ages.
The pelican sprinkler is certain to cool you off, too! Whether you're playing on the splash pad, or swimming in the deep end of the pool, you'll have a blast here.
Make it a party! Invite up to 30 of your closest friends and rent a cabana. You'll stay nice and cool in the shade, and you can even choose packages that include food.
Pelican Bay is open for the summer! It's open seven days a week until August 11th; then it remains open on weekends through September 2nd.
Admission is just $7 for guests 48 inches and taller; $5 for smaller guests. Babies and toddlers can play at Pelican Bay for free.
