Friends Trail Loop is a 1.5-mile trek in Beavers Bend State Park with stunning views along a river, rock formations, and tons of trees. Located in Broken Bow, the Friends Trail Loop in Oklahoma is rated as moderate and includes a steep climb along the route.
The Friends Trail in Broken Bow is newly opened and has become a popular hike for runners, school field trips, and family outings. Dogs are also allowed on this hike.
To reach the hike, head to Friends Trail Loop Trailhead, Beavers Bend Rd, Broken Bow, OK 74728
Once you set off on your hike, allow at least an hour and a half to complete it.
Parking at the trailhead is $10.
You'll be treated to a waterfall along the trail too!

Be prepared to get a workout on the moderate-level hike.
The highest elevation on the hike is just under 300 feet. So, since part of the hike includes steep hills, remember to stretch before and after you explore Friends Trail Loop.
It's not every day that you get to see water smashing up against the rocks while you take a hike in nature.
You'll see some people fishing along your hike. Feel free to put your feet in the water as well.
Remember to keep your eyes and ears open for animals you'll see as you hike.
You'll discover lots of great vantage points, like this one of the water against the trees, along the loop.
If you hike in the fall, you'll also be able to enjoy the foliage along the trail.
