There’s nothing like a good, old-fashioned day at the farm to put you in the proper fall spirit. While there are lots of amazing fall festivals in Ohio, for me, nothing beats the kind of wholesome experience found at a community harvest festival. Enjoying seasonal treats from local growers and bakers, admiring local art and handmade wares, and commingling with the community is an experience truly unlike any other. Add in the dynamic colors of fall foliage and crisp autumn air, and it’s basically a Hallmark movie come to life. In my corner of Southwest Ohio, Anderson Township Historical Society Urban Farm puts on an annual harvest festival that’s every bit as dreamy as the scene described above… and more!
