At Bay Lobsters Cafe & Fish Market, you’ll find a wide variety of fresh caught fish you can take home to cook in the comfort of your own kitchen. 3. Netty's (multiple locations)

4. Kewpee Hamburgers (Lima)

Kewpee Hamburgers in Lima, Ohio is a little-known legend in the fast food world and a beloved treasure among locals. Complete with delicious burgers, frosted malts and a giant baby—yes, a giant baby—dining here is an experience every Ohioan needs to have at least once. 5. New Sandusky Fish Company (Sandusky)

With fresh fish caught daily and cooked with expertise, you will experience what is arguably the best perch sandwich in Ohio at New Sandusky Fish Company. What this restaurant lacks in appearance, it makes up for in quality of food. There's only outdoor seating here — but with a Lake Erie view, it's all you really need. New Sandusky Fish Company is located at 235 E. Shoreline Drive in Sandusky.

6. The Maid-Rite Sandwich Shoppe (Greenville)

"Home of the famous Maid-Rite, Cheese-Rite and Big Jim," this unsuspecting sandwich shop upholds a strange tradition. Visitors stick their chewing gum outside along the "Wall of Gum" and come inside for what is arguably Ohio's best loose meat sandwich. (Pictured: Big Jim.) 7. Capri Sausage & Meatball (Steubenville)

Some of the most amazing sandwiches are hiding in this humble, carry-out only joint, Capri Sausage & Meatball. (The secret may be in the sauce, as each patty and meatball get a heavenly sauce bath once they're out of the oven.) You'll find it at 1400 University Blvd., Steubenville, OH 43952.

8. Wilson's Sandwich Shop (Findlay)

Essentially, you can't go wrong with anything you order at Wilson's Sandwich Shop. The hamburgers, chili dogs, french fries and frosties are all local favorites here. Wendy's has nothing on WIlson's, which is located at 600 S Main St., Findlay, OH 45840.

9. Uptown Grill (Athens)

This walk up window is a late night favorite for Ohio University students. Stop by for lunch, dinner or a late night chicken and waffle sandwich. It is located at 11 W Union St., Athens, OH 45701.
