1) Brandywine Falls (Cuyahoga Valley National Park)
Arguably Ohio's most beloved water, Brandywine Falls, provides the most picturesque, refreshing backdrop for a picnic.
2) Old Man's Cave (Hocking Hills State Park)
For a more adventurous picnic (free of the amenity of a picnic table) pick a spot to sit near the caves or falls at what we consider to be Ohio's favorite hiking spot.

Cleveland Metroparks features an array of parks, such as Euclid Creek Reservation (pictured) that provide an ideal, quiet atmosphere for a picnic.
4) Squire's Castle (Willoughby, Cleveland Metroparks)
Within the Cleveland Metroparks is a lovely, small castle that provides a romantic backdrop for a picnic date or an adventure the whole family can enjoy.
5) Schiller Park (German Village)
Columbus' beloved German Village holds a gem of a park for a picnic, (and if you're lucky enough, you might be able to catch some Shakespeare in the park.)
6) Topiary Park (Columbus)
Observe creatively shaped shrubbery at this unique park in Columbus while you enjoy your lunch.
7) Mill Creek Park (Youngstown)
This quaint metropolitan park is a true gem in the heart of Youngstown, and an ideal spot for picnicking.
8) Wegerzyn Gardens MetroPark (Dayton)
This beautiful park within the Five Rivers Metroparks offers yet another gorgeous location for a picnic.
