A Game Knight opened at the end of 2018 in the historic German Village area of Hamilton. They aimed to be a unique dining destination where the community can gather to socialize, play, eat, and enjoy some classic, nostalgic fun.

The concept here is very simple. Once you walk into the large dining space, find a seat, place your food and drink order, and choose a game or two to enjoy at your table.

The game selection is vast and diverse, including both old classics and new favorites. You can play as many different games as you like for free, but they do ask that you order food if you’re going to be hanging out and playing.

All ages are welcome at A Game Knight until 8 p.m., after which the restaurant becomes an age 18+ venue. That means it's a great spot for both a fun family dinner as well as an adults night out with games, food, and drinks.

The interior is spacious, comfortable, and feels a bit like your friend's cool basement, where you may have once enjoyed game nights. A Game Knight also has a lovely patio area where the fun continues.

You won't go thirsty at A Game Knight, as they offer dozens of specialty cocktails, local beers on tap, wine, soft drinks, coffee, and more. It's an ideal alternative to the typical bar scene, as you can truly relax and connect with your friends and family.

The menu is filled with made-to-order items like sliders, pretzels, sandwiches, and other tasty options. They definitely have something that will pair nicely with your Monopoly marathon.
