1. Moaning Caverns Adventure Park (Murphey)

Lake Shasta is a popular spot during the spring and summer, but few know to venture beneath the lake and explore these stunning caverns. Made entirely of limestone, the formations looks otherworldly. 8. Little Backbone Creek (Shasta Lake)
Here is another epic adventure to be had near the stunning Shasta Lake. Little Backbone Creek requires a small hike to get to it, but you won't regret making the small effort once you see it. The creek is simply idyllic. Tucked away in a secluded area of the lake's surrounding wilderness, you'll feel like you've stumbled onto a hidden paradise. The creek's blue-green waters among the red rocks is a sight you've got to see with your own eyes. 9. Black Sands Beach (Eureka)
Black Sands Beach is a stunning piece of coastline in the Kings Range National Conservation Area. The beach is located along The Lost Coast Trail, tucked away behind towering redwood trees. The remote beach consists of 3.5 miles of dark sand which creates a purely magical atmosphere along the breathtaking coast.
