Typically if you want to go out for dinner you don't have to go too far. You might have to take a short drive down the street or make a trip into the city if you have a specific restaurant in mind — but nothing too elaborate. But to eat at this North Carolina restaurant it's not that simple.
MoJo's on the Harbor isn't your everyday seafood restaurant. It's located on North Carolina's exclusive Bald Head Island that's near the coastal town of Southport. The only way to even reach Bald Head Island is by taking a 20 minute ferry ride.
Cars are not allowed on the island, so once visitors have reached Bald Head Island they have to rent golf carts to get around the island. Golf cart rentals are available by the hour or by the day.
Take the cart on over to MoJo's on the Harbor for a relaxing dining experience on the waterfront. It's the only waterfront restaurant on the island.
MoJo's is known for their seafood steam pots that are full of crab and peel and eat shrimp. There's also an entire sushi bar. Don't feel like getting seafood? The restaurant also serves up heaping bowls of pasta, burgers and steaks.
Guests can watch boats glide by and may even spot a dolphin or two while waiting for dinner. There are even fantastic views of the island's lighthouse, Old Baldy, from the restaurant.
