There’s never a bad time to stop and appreciate the finer things in life, and a peaceful garden is the perfect spot to reflect. There’s one impressive garden in North Carolina that you’ll never want to leave, and that’s the Cape Fear Botanical Garden in Fayetteville. Let’s take a closer look.
Founded in 1989, Cape Fear Botanical Garden sits on 80 acres of beautiful landscaping near downtown Fayetteville.
It's the perfect spot for the whole family to get outside and enjoy North Carolina's natural beauty.
Several trails will lead you through the garden, taking you on a journey through camellia, daylily, hosta gardens, and more.
There are over 2,000 varieties of plants indigenous to the area, and you'll learn all about them during your visit.
As you stroll underneath the shade from the pine and hardwood forest, you’ll come across several little hidden gems, perfect for sitting for a spell and watching nature unfold. It's a popular place for butterflies and bees to frequent, so sit back and relax and watch nature in action for a bit.
