Juan Murphy's is located at 796 Main Street in Arlington, which is a little east of Poughkeepsie proper, but which is part of Poughkeepsie by local standards.
This bar and restaurant is pleasant and welcoming. There's plenty of room to relax with family or friends. You'll find live music here several days a week, and the owners and operators often host other events as well, like game nights, darts, trivia, karaoke, and more.
In addition to all that, though, the food at Juan Murphy's is excellent. The menu includes a wide variety of Mexican dishes, like this burrito, to satisfy the "Juan" part of the establishment's name.
There are a number of tacos to choose from as well: grilled chicken, buffalo chicken, roasted pork, BBQ pork, brisket, steak, shrimp, and buffalo shrimp.

Why We Love It: It's taken several trips for me to figure out my perfect "weekender bag that's TSA approved," but I've found my perfect carry on with the TOBIQ Colorado 30L.
