Warmer weather means it's time to go outdoors! Enjoying nature in New York is a breeze with all of our amazing parks, beaches, trails, and lakes. There's certainly plenty to do on an afternoon outside, but sometimes you might find yourself wanting a little more of a getaway. Camping in New York is a wonderful experience, and we have plenty of campgrounds that are worth checking out. One that we really love is Rollins Pond Campground on Rollins Pond.
Rollins Pond makes for a beautiful outing whether you're all alone, on a romantic couple's retreat, or have the whole family with you.
There are nearly 300 campsites for tents and RVs, and most are right up next to the water. Imagine sitting around that fire while watching the sun set over the pond!

This campground is absolute heaven for water lovers. Canoes, kayaks, and rowboats are all available for rent.
Rollins Pond is over 400 acres, so there's a lot to explore. For those who love to fish, the smaller Whey Pond (just opposite the campsites) is stocked with plenty of trout!
The views here are truly magnificent. Miles away from civilization, it's easy to forget about all your problems while looking out over the glorious pond.
Wood and ice cream vendors are on site, and there are also showers and bathroom facilities. The sites are a little more spaced-out here than at other nearby campgrounds, so there's privacy and space to relax.
You'll definitely feel like a happy camper here!

The Beaver Kill—also known as the Beaverkill or Beaverkill River—is a tributary of the Delaware River.
The Beaver Kill has been a destination for trout fishers ever since the beginning of the 19th century, and fishers can still enjoy it today. Every year, the New York State Department of Environment Conservation fills the river with 18,000 brown trout.
Around that time, it was also one of the most popular resort destinations in the entire country. The Beaverkill Valley Inn was one of those popular resorts, and it still exists today. In fact, it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Along The Beaver Kill there is the covered Beaverkill Bridge, which crosses around the Beaverkill State Campground, which is also a spot beloved by fishers.
The preservation of The Beaver Kill was one of the first such endeavors America, and set these standard for many conservation efforts around the country.
There is plenty of fly fishing activity in the town of Roscoe. It’s located where The Beaver Kill and Willowemoc Creek intersect and has been called “Trout Town, USA.” In town, there are plenty of fly-shops and hotels available for fishers.
If you love fishing or hunting in STATE, you'll love the new camo collection from our friends at Wear Your Roots and Realtree.
