1. Annual Harvest Festival at The Farmers' Museum - Cooperstown
Two days of fun filled activities, the Farmers' Museum will be hosting their magical 39th annual Harvest Festival on September 16th and 17th. Right in the perfect setting for fall, the Farmers' Museum will have live music, family activities, horse-drawn wagon rides and other unique ways to stay busy. 2. Gore Mountain Harvest Fest - North Creek
A great reason to head up to the Adirondacks, the Harvest Fest at Gore Mountain is happening this year on October 7th and 8th. 3. Madison County Hop Fest - Oneida
Happening this year between September 15th and 17th, the Madison County Hop Fest has been up and running for over 20 years. The festival has food from local restaurants, craft beer sampling and hop heritage tours that all will remind you of exactly why it is you love the fall season. 4. Apple Festival - Central Square
A longtime local favorite, the Central Square Apple Festival draws out thousands of visitors each year. The festival will be taking place September 22nd through the 24th and if you've somehow never visited, you'll want to make the trip this year. Central Square's Apple Festival is made up of fun activities like Apple Pie Baking Contests and Scarecrow Contest, as well as rides, food and plenty of vendors. 5. The Naples Grape Festival - Naples
A September tradition that kicks off the fall season with a ton of flavor, the popular Naples Grape Festival will be happening this year on September 23rd and 24th! 6. CNY Great Pumpkin Festival - Oswego
Another festival that has everything you need, the CNY Great Pumpkin Festival is taking place on September 30th and October 1st this year. The family-friendly festival will have locally made wine, craft beers, tasting tents, rides and crafts available to those who visit. 7. Chowder Fest - Troy
A one day only event that will give you a warm welcome to fall, the Troy ChowderFest is happening from 12PM to 4PM on October 8th. 8. Cider Festival at Fly Creek Cider Mill - Fly Creek

9. Festival of Grapes - Silver Creek
Another grape festival that's more than worth visiting, you'll have an amazing time at Silver Creek's Festival of Grapes. 10. The Great Jack O'Lantern Blaze - Croton-On-Hudson
