There's truly so much to see and do within this breathtaking state park. From camping to hiking or fishing, there's so much to take in.
There are four different campgrounds at Cimarron, so if you're looking to spend the night in a park with some spectacular views, this is it.
Cimarron Canyon State Park extends for roughly eight miles along Cimarron Canyon. This narrow canyon is a part of Colin Neblett Wildlife Area which extends over 33,000 acres.
The Palisades Sills are cliffs high above the canyon that form incredible rock formations. It's said that these started over 40 million years ago.
Being engulfed in the Palisades-surrounded canyon, hiking is all the more amazing. The trails within the park are well kept and always exciting.
This park also runs beside Tolby Creek, and the popular Clear Creek Trail follows rushing waters and waterfalls.
During your visit, you may come across some furry friends. Deer, elk, and many different birds live within the park.
Birdwatching is a top activity at Cimarron.
