Observing marine life from above is always fascinating, but what if you could see things from a different perspective? Perhaps from below or, even better, imagine being completely surrounded by an underwater world.
Adventure Aquarium is the perfect place for fans of marine life.
The aquarium is home to 8,500 aquatic species in approximately two million gallons of water. .
It is one of only six facilities in the US to have Little Blue Penguins as permanent residents.
And here's a baby Blue Penguin, just because it's adorable...
Adventure Aquarium is the only aquarium in the world to exhibit hippos.
The aquarium is home to the largest collection of sharks on the East Coast, including the only great hammerhead shark on exhibit in the United States.
And one of the best ways to witness them is by taking a stroll through the shark tunnel.
The 40-foot tunnel passes through a 550,000 gallon tank that houses over 20 sharks and 200 other animals.
If you'd prefer to get dangerously close, cross shark bridge - the longest, V-shaped rope suspension bridge in the world. It hovers right over the shark realm.
And all this fishy fun is only just the start of what Adventure Aquarium has to offer. You can touch a shark, along with other animals and enjoy interactive exhibits while you're here.
