1. Ice Castles, Lincoln
Each year, epic ice castles seemingly spring out of nowhere in Lincoln, and wandering through them is an experience like no other. Don't miss the nighttime tours and fire performances! This delightful display really showcases all the fun of New Hampshire in winter.
2. Cranmore Mountain Adventure Park, North Conway
Even if you aren't a skier, Cranmore Mountain offers plenty of winter fun. Their alpine slide is open in the winter, and it's an absolute rush. This is one of the best things to do in the snow in NH, and we can't get enough.
3. Charmingfare Farm, Candia
New Hampshire's most unique farm/zoo is great fun all year round, but seeing the animals in their fuzzy winter coats is especially charming. You can also take a sleigh ride, enjoy hot cocoa, and more. This is one of those amazing winter experiences in New Hampshire nobody is going to forget any time soon.
4. Alton Bay Seaplane Base and Ice Runway, Alton Bay
The only plowed ice runway in the continental United States, this spot is as fascinating to observe as it is unique. Of course, it's only open for business when the ice is thick enough! 5. Nestlenook Farm, Jackson
If you want some real old-fashioned winter magic, head to Nestlenook Farm, where you can skate on a Victorian-style skate park, take a sleigh ride, or enjoy a hot drink by a fire. Ever wanted to check out a real, live farm in New Hampshire? What better time than now?
6. Granite Gorge Ski Area, Keene
If you want a real thrill, take an epic trip in a tube down the hill at Granite Gorge Ski Area. Best of all, you can ride a lift back up to the top! This might just be the best snow tubing hill in New Hampshire.
