There are all sorts of adventures to be had here in the Granite State, but our favorites always seem to include animals. This farm offers the chance to get up-close-and-personal with some of the most adorable animals you can imagine. But, it's not all fuzzy and furry. They also offer an opportunity to visit with some more exotic animals that call New Hampshire home. For a fun day trip, consider visiting this special farm that's also a zoo.
Charmingfare Farm in Candia is a completely working farm with all the planting, raising and rooster crowing that you'd see at any operational farm.
But there is one thing that sets them apart. Throughout the summer visitors are invited to come and spend time with the animals.
Animals such as goats and sheep are here for the petting!
And every visit is an adorable adventure.
And while there are plenty of the animals you'd expect to see at a farm...
They also have some more exotic varieties to make things even more exciting. To answer the question you surely have: no, you can't pet the bears.
But you can certainly feed the deer!
And watch the wolves.
And even interact with the reptiles.
There are a number of ways to have fun here on the farm. There are camps for children, horseback riding trips and even horse-drawn carriage jaunts. So, whether you want to be within an arm's length of these furry friends or prefer to keep your distance, there's something for all animal lovers here.
