Here in New Hampshire you'll find a cute and totally New England attraction just about anywhere you look. That's because few states do quaint quite like us. From small towns with farmers' markets and local pubs to hidden mountain churches we've pretty much perfected the art of it. But this general store offers a whole new level and we think you'll love it. Swing by for photos or to stock up on the essentials. Either way you won't leave disappointed!
The Mont Vernon General Store in Mont Vernon has been around for more than 160 years!
And the shop has made a name for itself by offering the best local crafts, homemade treats and simple staples that everyone needs.
The store was restored in 2011 which allowed for some necessary modern additions, but it still carries the same small town charm that it did on day one.
Outside things look quintessentially New England and inside they look quintessentially...essential! They've got everything you need, from special treats to the things you forgot at the grocery store.
And the staff here are lovely. In the summer you'll be greeted by a smiling face at their walk-up ice cream window.
And throughout the year you'll love the fun personality here.
This is a great spot to get local gifts for friends and family who want a taste of New Hampshire.
And don't forget to bring home something special for yourself.
In whatever form that takes for you!
