New Hampshire is home to some of of the best small mom & pop shops in New England. And our favorite locally owned and run spots are always food-related! That's because there's a tremendous amount of love (and of course some blood, sweat and tears!) that goes into each one. While it's almost impossible to choose a favorite, the Mexican served at this small local chain is high on our list!
If you're not sure if you believe that you can't judge a book by its cover make your way to the original Factory Street location of California Burritos in Nashua! This little unassuming spot is one of the best Mexican restaurants we've been to, but if you're not looking for it you might just pass it by.
Inside things are clean and cozy.
There's a lot to love here, but one thing we appreciate is that they use the freshest ingredients. It's something they take pride in.
We also love that everything here is totally customizable. First you'll choose the entree you'd like. They offer both hard and soft shell tacos, burritos, burrito bowls, quesadillas, and salads.
Next you'll choose your protein, the type of tortilla you'd like, salsa, and your filling. Then choose the fun extras! They offer things like jalapénos, lettuce, sour cream, cheese, onions, chipotle ranch, and guacamole.
And if making decisions is difficult, simply choose one of their specials. They offer some of the most unique options including these carne asada fries. They're served with french fries, steak, guacamole, sour cream, cheese, pico de gallo, and salsa.
Don't forget the chips, salsa, and guac!
Everything here is made fresh, including their perfect pupusas, which aren't always easy to find!
Stop in when you're hungry and you'll be sure to make plans for another visit. Whether you're hungry or not!
California Burritos has a few locations, but the Nashua original is a must-visit. Learn more about them by visiting the website or checking them out on Facebook. They're open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. You can reach them on 603-718-8745.
