Located in the Midtown District, the Reno Bead Shop boasts itself as "the place to go for all of your beading needs." Whether you're already into beading or you're looking to start, this locally-owned shop caters to all types.
First and foremost, the bead shop has an outstanding collection of all types of beads. Stones, crystals, glass, metal, pearls, charms, shells - you name the bead and they probably carry it!
In fact, the bead shop should be the first place you check for those specialty beads. There's an entire room bursting with Czech seed beads, Japanese Delica, Miyuki and Toho seed beads, cubes, triangles, and so much more. They're constantly getting new beads in, too.
The shop also carries supplies like sheet metal, wire, and leather. If you're looking to start a new hobby, you've definitely come to the right place. The friendly staff will gladly help answer any questions you may have.
Serving the community since 2006, the bead shop is a Native American-owned and operated business. It's one of the few spots in town you'll find Native American beadwork supplies like jingle cones, buckskin, porcupine quills, etc.

Why We Love It: It's taken several trips for me to figure out my perfect "weekender bag that's TSA approved," but I've found my perfect carry on with the TOBIQ Colorado 30L. An Instagram ad caught my eye during a late-night scroll session and I was intrigued by the colorful compartments and versatility of the bag, which can be carried as a duffle or as a backpack (I prefer the backpack for even weight distribution and airport navigation.) Why I Love It: Fact: Airplanes are notoriously dry, dry, dry. No matter how much water I drink both before and during the flight, I always find myself in a hydration deficit for days.
