Located smack dab in the middle of Sam's Town Hotel and Casino is Mystic Falls Park; a tranquil and serene living park to take you away from the hustle and bustle of Las Vegas (and the casinos too, of course.)
Even when the weather is a sweltering 100-plus degrees outside, you can take a walk through a beautiful park and enjoy trickling streams, nature sounds, and winding walking paths.
Animatronic animals decorate the park as well. From this wolf (that obviously doesn't mind getting wet) that signals the start of the daily shows with its howl to the chirping birds and more, this park is fun for all.
It's difficult to believe that this charming park is inside of a Las Vegas hotel and casino complex. In addition to the park and waterfall, there is a bar in the middle of the park.

Why We Love It: It's taken several trips for me to figure out my perfect "weekender bag that's TSA approved," but I've found my perfect carry on with the TOBIQ Colorado 30L. Visiting the small mining town of Eureka, Nevada feels almost like being thrown back in time 150 years. After all, the historic community is home to plenty of original structures from its prosperous mining days, such as the Jackson House Hotel.
As you walk through Eureka and immerse yourself in its historic buildings, you can't help but feel completely enchanted. Although well-known for its haunted tales, the Jackson House Hotel boasts a charming exterior, located right in the heart of town.
Open seasonally from March through November, the Jackson House Hotel offers the incredible experience of sleeping inside a piece of American history. However, that's not all it offers. Widely believed to be haunted, this hotel may give you a bigger taste of the past than you bargained for.
In fact, this supposed haunted hotel in Nevada even garnered the entire country's attention when it was featured on Travel Channel's hit series Ghost Adventures, a paranormal investigation show led by ghost-hunting icon Zak Bagans. Bagans and his crew visited the historic spot in 2017 and conducted an investigation.
Although many visitors have stayed at the hotel without experiencing a single disturbance, it's impossible to ignore the tales of paranormal activity taking place within the hotel. The Jackson Suite is rumored to be the room where the MOST activity is said to occur.
Another paranormal hot spot is the hotel's bar area. Guests have reported the feeling of being watched while sitting at the bar, and some even say they've seen the words "I'm watching you" mysteriously appear on the fogged mirror. A message from the Nevada ghosts that live here will definitely send shivers down your spine!
