Coryell Park was first opened to the public in April of 1934. It’s a delightful green space that includes plenty of paths to roam, a chapel, and a charming covered bridge. This park and its attractions combine natural beauty with rustic structures that are incredibly photogenic.
Strolling through the park will bring you to its covered bridge. Lingering a while by the bridge will allow you to truly appreciate the splendor of the fall foliage and the smell of the crisp autumn air. It’s a great place to set up a picnic or just lay back and watch the clouds go by.
Don’t forget to visit the park’s other attractions while you’re there. Stop by the chapel for a moment or two of serenity, let the little ones loose at the park’s playground, and check out the Treasure House for a bit of history. It’s filled with collectibles donated by the Coryell family, including a fascinating antique doll collection.
