As the state is currently being blanketed with about a foot of snow, I've never been more conflicted about my feelings for snow. All Wisconsinites have a love-hate relationship with the white stuff. It looks so gorgeous coming down and it leads to some pretty amazing winter activities, even if shoveling it and driving in it are enough to put us off the stuff for another six months.
But this winter park is a wonderland that celebrates all things involving snow and it's enough to make you forget the sore back you got from shoveling the driveway.
Minocqua Winter Park is located at 7543 Squirrel Hill Road,

If you're going, make sure you check the website for directions as GPS tends to take you a way that's ok in the summer, but not so great in the winter.
