Teal Lake is located in the Northwoods of Wisconsin, amidst the splendor of Chequamegon National Forest.
Part of the Quiet Lakes trio, Teal Lake is the perfect place to make a splash this summer whether you are swimming or fishing.
The other two Quiet Lakes are Ghost Lake and Lost Land Lake. Maybe you’ll also explore the Teal River, or visit the other two lakes.
Fish for musky, large and smallmouth bass, northern pike, and walleye.
There is a 10 mph speed limit on Teal Lake, so no water skiing or jet skiing is to be had – instead enjoy a more peaceful atmosphere here.
Have a picnic on one of the six wilderness islands found in Teal Lake.
The islands are state owned, one with the name of Raspberry Island.
If you look up to the sky, maybe you’ll be lucky to see an eagle soaring over Teal Lake.
There are deer sightings too. And on a very rare occasion, a visitor of the large furry kind, a black bear.
If you need a place to stay, check out the Back O' Beyond Resort, right on the shores of Teal Lake.
As the day winds down on the lake, the view over the water is certainly tranquil.
At the end of your day, maybe you will catch a special sunset.
Then come back in the fall to see the striking display of autumn color that encircles the lake.
