Rudolph (population 400) is a small village located in Wood County, Wisconsin. It’s a charming and friendly rural community that’s not far from places like Stevens Point and Wisconsin Rapids.
Rudolph Grotto is a religious shrine and park that was built by Father Philip Wagner in the early 1900s. The site features a number of unique and intricate shrines, statues, and buildings.
The grotto is known for its beautiful gardens, which are filled with a variety of flowers, trees, and other plants. Paths meander through five acres of gardens.
Visitors can also explore a number of religious displays and monuments throughout the site, including some beautiful religious statues. There’s also a featured called the Wonder Cave, a one-fifth mile passageway, featuring 26 shrines. Its design was inspired by the catacombs in Rome.
