Door County has a lot of attractions that are very well known – Cave Point, Nicolet Beach, and Wilson’s Ice Cream to name just a few. While they are all worth a visit, the word is out and on busy weekends they can become packed with visitors. It’s still possible to experience an amazing attraction in Door County without fighting crowds, though. A charming Wisconsin flower farm offers an amazing experience that’s a perfect excuse to enjoy some outdoor beauty, one blossom at a time. Here’s what you need to know about OneEighty Petals.
OneEighty Petals is located in the beautiful interior of Door County, just east of Fish Creek. It’s an easy drive from anywhere in Northern Door County, including Baileys Harbor and Fish Creek.
The farm is owned by husband-and-wife farmer/florist team John and Sara Lancaster. They had a vision to bring back the family flower farm and provide Door County with a source of locally, sustainably grown blooms that can be used by businesses and for special events.
Their dream blossomed and they are sharing the incredible beauty of the flower farm with visitors.
You can stop by and pick up a cut bouquet to go but for a full color experience, you’ll want to select and cut the flowers yourself. Just make a reservation to create your own mix of blooms from the cut-your-own flower field.
The experience is serene and unforgettable. Visitors with reservations bring their own containers and select each blossom, stem by stem.
When you leave Door County, you’ll have the perfect arrangement to bring home. Enjoy it as a reminder of your trip or give a special gift to someone who was looking after your home or pet while you were away.
The Cut-Your-Own flower field is open from mid July through September, weather permitting. Be sure to bring sunscreen and shoes appropriate for walking in a farm field. Learn more and make reservations on the farm’s website. One you have selected the perfect bouquet at this Wisconsin flower farm, here are some more things to do in Fish Creek.
