Stunning, magical, whimsical…these are just a few words that have been used to describe Edgewood Orchard Galleries – and each is completely fitting. The grounds feature a historic barn brimming with art in an array of mediums, but that’s not even the best part. The best part is definitely the sculpture garden, which winds through the woods, offering visitors the chance to embark on an adventure like no other. Take a look:
Edgewood Orchard Galleries is located in Fish Creek. The grounds include a gallery and sculpture garden, both of which are open daily, May – October.
Since its establishment in 1969, Edgewood Orchard Galleries has grown into one of the Midwest’s most respected art galleries.
It’s also grown into a Fish Creek favorite, especially the sculpture garden.
Absolutely magical, sculptures are sporadically situated among the woods and gardens that surround the gallery.
As varied as they are impressive, the sculptures come in a myriad of shapes and sizes.
Additionally, they’re constructed out of an array of materials, including bronze, aluminum, and steel.
And that diversity is part of what makes the sculpture garden so popular with visitors of all ages.
When meandering throughout the sculpture garden, you’ll come across everything from realistic and life-size pieces…
…to abstract and whimsical ones, making for a unique trek that’s nothing short of enchanting.
The fun doesn’t end when you finish strolling the grounds, though.
You’ll also want to explore the on-site gallery, which is a must-visit for a couple of reasons. First, it’s located in a charming stone fruit barn from the early 1900s.
And second, it houses an amazing selection of artwork, which includes paintings, sculptures, jewelry, and more.
Bursting with whimsy and enchantment, a visit to Edgewood Orchard Galleries is sure to captivate you!
