It’s not just two heads that are better than one. Two waterfalls are better than one, too. And if you need some convincing, just pay a visit to Little Manitou Falls, which consists of two 31-foot tall waterfalls.
Located in Superior, Pattison State Park is most known as the home of Big Manitou Falls, Wisconsin’s tallest waterfall.
However, the park’s got lots of other fantastic features, including Little Manitou Falls.
Twice as nice as its larger counterpart, Little Manitou Falls consists of two nearly identical 31-foot waterfalls.
Stunning throughout the seasons, Little Manitou Falls is a great visit year-round.
The best part is that accessing the double waterfall is a breeze. A short, well-marked trail leads straight to Little Manitou Falls.
Along the way, you’ll find signage featuring info about the area.
There’s also a parking area just a few dozen yards from the falls, so you can park and basically walk right to Little Manitou Falls.
Once at the falls, you can take in their splendor from an overlook.
Your fun at Pattison State Park doesn’t have to end with a visit to Little Manitou Falls. The 1,400-acre park boasts a beach, nature center, camping, and over seven miles of hiking trails.
