Brady’s Bluff and Riverview Trail Loop is a scenic path that will take you straight to jaw-dropping views. Here’s what you need to know about hiking this stunning trail.
Brady's Bluff and Riverview Trail Loop is located in Perrot State Park. It’s a gorgeous trail that offers magnificent views.
The trail is about three miles long and is a loop trail, meaning you won’t have to turn around to wind up back where you started. It’s also a lightly trafficked route, so you may even have the path to yourself.
As you ascend into the clouds, you’ll be surrounded by panoramic vistas that stretch out as far as the eye can see. This trail is especially good for bird watchers and photography.
The trail climbs steadily upwards, so be prepared for some aching calves. You can expect to gain about 570 feet in elevation.
Approaching the main overlook requires tackling a long stretch of steps, so come prepared with sturdy shoes and plenty of water. Don’t be shy about taking a break and enjoying the view while you catch your breath.
The views at the top are worth all the huffing and puffing. You’ll feel as high as a bird as you gaze out across the landscape.
The trail is fantastic in all seasons, though most hikers find the path easiest between April and October. Dogs can join in the fun, but they must remain leashed while on the trail.
