1. Sunset View Farms (Ballard)
Sunset View Farms in Ballard, West Virginia boasts pumpkins, a corn maze, a farm playground, a barrel train, hay rides, and more. You can even reserve a fire pit! The farm opens for the fall season (on Saturdays and Sundays) soon! Keep an eye out for the dates for this year's fall season.
2. Gritt's Farm (Buffalo)
Gritt’s Fun Farm begins with a bang on September 14 and will remain open Thursdays to Sundays through November 3, 2024. The festive fun farm will be complete with all the fun you've come to expect from Gritts, plus donuts!
3. Chandler's Pumpkin Farm (Elkview)
Chandler's Pumpkin Farm in Elkview, West Virginia is so much fun and has some big and beautiful pumpkins. It’s a favorite for field trips. (Editor’s note: This farm will not be holding its fall festivities this year. Please check back to see if it resumes in 2025.)
4. Black Cat Pumpkin Patch (Morgantown)
The Black Cat Pumpkin Patch in Morgantown, West Virginia isn't a traditional pumpkin patch, but it's still worth a visit this fall! Come expecting a charming roadside pumpkin patch with additional shopping for all things fun and fall. Black Cat is open mid-September through Halloween, 2024, Fridays through Sundays.
5. Old McDonald's Pumpkin Patch & Corn Maze (Inwood)
Head to Old McDonald's Pumpkin Patch & Corn Maze on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays beginning in late September for a fun day on the farm!
6. Seeds of Grace Acres (Augusta)
Seeds of Grace Acres will be open on Saturdays and Sundays from September 28 through November 1, 2024. Don't miss the chance to explore all the fun activities this farm has to offer!
7. Butcher Family Farm (Washington)
A local favorite, Butcher Family Farm has been keeping West Virginians stocked with fall produce and flowers since the 1930s, transforming into a pumpkin wonderland in September and October!
8. West Virginia Pumpkin Park (Milton)
The WV Pumpkin Park is another slightly nontraditional addition to this list. It's not a pumpkin farm, but the West Virginia Pumpkin Festival, happening October 3-6,2024, is definitely a must-visit for anyone who loves pumpkins!
