There’s no need to go hiking to see breathtaking waterfalls in Washington (though, of course, you can see plenty of waterfalls along our trails!). You can find gorgeous cascades everywhere in the Evergreen State -- even in our big cities. Case in point: this free park is hidden in the heart of Seattle, and it’s a perfect place to experience a bit of zen in the middle of a busy neighborhood. With stunning falls to see and lots of places to relax, this secluded hidden waterfall park in Washington makes for a wonderful little oasis.
If you walk around Pioneer Square in Seattle, you can find several historic buildings and typical city businesses. Hidden along 2nd Avenue South, you'll also be able to come across this free Waterfall Garden Park.
The very definition of a hidden oasis, this is a completely serene place to sit and enjoy lunch or a cup of coffee.
The man-made falls drop 22 feet over natural granite boulders.
Whether you stop by for a quick break or sit and stay for awhile, the sounds of the water splashing against the rocks is wonderfully relaxing to hear. It also makes for a perfect place to sit and sink into a new book.

This hidden gem in Washington also has a fascinating history. The site marks the original office location of UPS, and it's dedicated to the company's hardworking employees.
