1. Wallace Falls State Park
On the west side of the Cascades near Gold Bar, you can find Wallace Falls State Park open for the winter. 2. Reflection Lake, Mount Rainier National Park
Can you believe how gorgeous this lake looks completely frozen over? The Reflection and Louise Lake area in the Mount Rainier National Park makes for an exhilarating snowshoeing trip and a camper's paradise. Or...you could stay warm inside with coffee. Not a bad idea either.
3. Waterfront Park, Leavenworth
Waterfront Park is wonderful to visit during the summer, but a view of the Wenatchee River and snowy trees will blow your mind in the winter. Take a camera and you'll find perfect photo opportunities everywhere.
4. Hurricane Hill, Olympic National Park
Perhaps one of the most popular destinations in the Northwest to visit during the winter is Hurricane Hill in the Olympic National Park. It's an ideal location for skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, tubing or just enjoying a day out on the mountain. Come along on a winter hike to Hurricane Hill:
5. Staircase Loop, Olympic National Park
It may be winter, but you can still put on an extra coat and head out to see striking views along this beautiful trail. It's located in the southeastern part of the Olympic National Park and even features a phenomenal cable bridge to cross over.

7. Mission Ridge, Wenatchee
If you love to ski or snowboard, this world-class resort on the east side of the mountains has tons of slopes that you can head down. Their ski resort features 36 designated trails serviced by four lifts, two rope tows, and some of the most extraordinary views.
8. Howard Amon Park, Richland
Who says you need to head all the way out to the mountains to enjoy stunning landscapes this season? If you haven't been to this waterfront park in the Tri-Cities this time of year, you're missing out on some spectacular winter scenery.
9. Snoqualmie Falls
You may think this iconic waterfall is beautiful during the summer, but there's something about it during the winter that makes it even more magnificent.
