While the trail can be steep in sections, the reward at the top is a sweeping vista of the North Cascades, Sauk River Valley, and even glimpses of Mount Baker on clear days. Staircase Rapids Loop in Olympic National Park is a hidden gem that showcases the lush, moss-draped forests typical of the region. It’s a relatively easy trail that provides a magical, fern-filled atmosphere without the crowds found in more popular areas of the park. Why We Love It: It's taken several trips for me to figure out my perfect "weekender bag that's TSA approved," but I've found my perfect carry on with the TOBIQ Colorado 30L.
